This intense video made for the elevator by Marco Brambilla in the new Standard Hotel on the west side of Manhattan utilized an Autodesk Flame to composite over 400 HD clips in a single mindblowing journey to heaven (if you are ascending in the elevator) or to hell (if you descending). I can't wait to go over there and pretend I am spending 500 beans a night for a hotel room in the meatpacking district. Until then we all can watch this pretty video.
Ever since I saw Boston Dynamics Big Dog I knew my dreams would never be the same. Well leave it up to the Israeli's to one-up the big dog and forever haunt my slumber. Apparently this robotic snake can be wired with explosives just in case the controller wants to blow up a suspicious Palestinian.
I haven't heard the new Grizzly Bear album yet, it just came out today, but this new Patrick Daughters video makes me want to get it ASAP. His concepts are sometimes just so simple yet executed so intricately, I love it!
My boss showed me this video the other day "Evident Utensil" by the Brooklyn band Chairlift At first I wasn't that into the song but after watching the visuals for so long, I'm really starting to like it. I really want to try this datamoshing thing and explore its potentials. So exited to try!
